Interruptible
A low-priority instance type where users set a bid price instead of paying a fixed rate. The instance may be terminated when another user places a higher bid. Offers 50-80% cost savings compared to on-demand pricing. Unlike traditional spot instances, interruptible instances can run indefinitely if not outbid. Best suited for fault-tolerant workloads with frequent checkpointing and backup strategies.
